Columbus has parents who live in Columbus, Ohio. He attempted to head back to there in order to find them, but they were supposedly killed when Columbus was burned to the ground. Their son also noted that they were paranoid "shut-ins" like him, and since his family was not functional, he believed he never had a real family to begin with when he realized they were probably dead.
However, their exact fates are not confirmed.
